UK's Babcock on track after half-year profit jumps 19%

LONDON, Nov 21 (Reuters) - British defence engineering company Babcock BAB.L said on Friday it expected to meet guidance for the year after first-half operating profit rose 19%, and it added it was pursuing "exciting opportunities" in Britain and international markets.
