Bachem jumps after announcing CHF 500 mln project investment

** Bachem BANB.S shares rise 7.6% after the Swiss peptide manufacturer announced investments of more than 500 million Swiss francs ($617.67 million) in its Sisslerfeld greenfield project
** "Bachem has successfully secured a long-term agreement with a customer, which is a positive development," Vontobel says
** The company said the expansion is part of a strategic collaboration but did not disclose further details on its partners
** Vontobel  adds that Bachem will mitigate a significant financial risk by not having to bear the financial burden
** The brokerage notes, however, that additional customer contracts are likely necessary to advance the site
** Stock on track for best day since March
