ZURICH/BERLIN, Mar 24 (Reuters) - Here are some of the main
factors that may affect Swiss stocks on Thursday:

    CREDIT SUISSE  CSGN.S 
    Credit Suisse Group said on Wednesday that a court in
Bermuda was poised to issue a ruling against a local life
insurance subsidiary of the Swiss bank that could potentially be
worth more than $500 million. It was reviewing whether it would
need to build more reserves for the case.  CSGN.S 
    
    NOVARTIS  NOVN.S 
    The U.S. Food and Drug Administration approved Novartis AG's
therapy for the treatment of patients with a type of advanced
prostate cancer that has spread to other parts of the body, the
drugmaker said on Wednesday.  NOVN.S 
    
    INDEX ADJUSTMENTS

 it will carry out an extraordinary adjustment to the index
composition of SLI, SMIM and SPI indices as of March 31.
