ZURICH/BERLIN, Oct 5 (Reuters) - The Swiss blue-chip SMI
 .SSMI  was seen opening 0.1% lower at 10,577 points on
Wednesday, according to premarket indications by bank Julius
Baer  JBPRE01 .
    Here are some of the main factors that may affect Swiss
stocks:

    SNB governing board member Andrea Maechler is set to speak
at KOF Economic Institute
    COMPANY STATEMENTS
    * FEMSA  FEMSAUBD.MX  publishes definitive end result of the
public tender offer for Valora  VALN.S  showing it controls
96.87% of the voting rights, settlement of the 260 franc per
share offer scheduled for Friday  VALN.S 
    * Bachem Holding AG  BANB.S : to build third site in
Switzerland; in first step, plans investments of CHF 750 million
and the creation of more than 500 new jobs by 2030  BANB.S 
    * Holcim  HOLN.S : closes Izolbet acquisition  HOLN.S 
    * Roche Holding AG  ROG.S : to present new data from its
neuromuscular disease portfolio at World Muscle Society 2022
