**Bank of Montreal  BMO.TO and Toronto-Dominion Bank TD.TO have blockedthird-party artificial intelligence agents from accessing their digital properties, the latest in a string of banks that have restricted the technology. 
     
**Laid-off Ontario steel workers at Stelco could be back on the job by Christmas, depending on sufficient domestic procurements of steel, Cleveland-Cliffs CLF.N chief executive Lourenco Goncalves said, adding that increased demand could result in Cliffs recalling 175 people who have lost their jobs.
     
**  Canadian jet maker Bombardier BBDb.TO  is partnering with British defence contractor BAE Systems BAES.L on a new effort to develop technological and industrial capabilities for future combat fighter jets.
