** Shares of Bal Pharma BALP.NS gain 3.7% at 139.4 rupees,
last up 3%
** Co begins a green field project set up in the southern
state of Karnataka at a cost of 300 mln rupees ($3.6 mln)
** Says the facility will have an initial production
capacity of 120 tonnes of active pharmaceutical ingredients for
domestic and international markets
** Stock up 38% YTD
($1 = 83.9650 Indian rupees)
