UniCredit aware of Commerzbank's concerns but shares tendered are 'a fact', source says MILAN, June 10 (Reuters) - UniCredit CRDI.MI is aware of the concerns expressed by Commerzbank CBKG.DE about take-up data in the Italian bank's hostile takeover offer for the German rival, but they do not change the facts, a person close to UniCredit said on Wednesday.
The concerns are speculative in nature while shares tendered are a fact, the source said describing UniCredit's position.
Commerzbank has said that it could not identify a single institutional investor who had tendered so far and only 0.05% retail acceptance, as shares tendered reached 10.9% on Tuesday.
