Subject: Bank Muscat - Kuwait Branch

 

We refer to our disclosure dated 6 June 2022, wherein the Bank disclosed that
it intends to gradually reduce the operations of its branch in the State of
Kuwait with the aim of complete closure of the branch in 2025.

 

 

The Bank would like to inform the Market that it has completed all necessary
procedures for the closure of its Kuwait branch activity. This step was
carried out in line with the Bank's earlier commitments, in coordination with
the relevant regulatory authorities. The Bank would like to take this
opportunity to express its sincere thanks and gratitude to the relevant
regulatory authorities for their cooperation in this regard.
