Appointment of New Director

Bank of Cyprus Holdings Public Limited Company ("BOC Holdings") announces that
on 10 August 2023 the European Central Bank approved the appointment of Mrs
Monique Hemerijck as a member of the Board of Directors of Bank of Cyprus
Public Company Limited. The appointment is also effective for the Board of
Directors of BOC Holdings.
