Gold miners fall as bullion prices edge down

** Spot gold XAU= down 1.4% at $4,084.50/ounce as rising oil prices stoked inflation concerns and reinforced expectations that interest rates could stay higher for longer
** Top miners down — Newmont NEM.N by 2.6% and Barrick Mining ABX.TO, B.N by 2.3%
** South African miners Gold Fields GFI.N, AngloGold Ashanti AU.N, Harmony Gold HMY.N and Sibanye Stillwater SBSW.N drop between 3.4% and 4.2%
** Canadian miners: Agnico Eagle Mines AEM.TO, AEM.N dips 3.9%, Kinross Gold K.TO, KGC.N falls 2.7%
