Australia's Bega Cheese marks best day in six months on strong annual earnings

** Shares of Bega Cheese BGA.AX rise as much as 6.3% to A$6.39, their biggest intraday pct gain since February 20
** Stock posts highest level since February 23
** Dairy retailer reports FY26 Statutory PAT of A$54.8 million ($38.96 million), compared to a net loss of A$8.5 million in FY25
** Co also declared a final dividend of 7.5 AU cents per share, up from 6 AU cents last year
** BGA forecasts FY27 normalised EBITDA in range of A$240 million to A$245 million, compared to A$225.6 million in FY26 
** About 1.3 mln shares changed hands, above the 30-day average of nearly 700,000 traded 
** YTD stock has gained 4.8% ($1 = 1.4065 Australian dollars)
