** Shares of Australia's Perenti PRN.AX rise 7.9% to A$2.19, set for their biggest gain since February 25, 2025, if the trend holds

** Mining services firm says its unit, Barminco, selected as underground mining contractor at Bellevue Gold's BGL.AX Western Australia project

** The estimated total value of the contract is ~A$850 million ($615.06 million) during a 4-year term, with a 12-month extension option

** PRN down 22.9% YTD
