Bilfinger falls after it trims full-year margin expectations
BUZZ-Bilfinger falls after it trims full-year margin expectations ** Shares of Bilfinger GBFG.DE fall 6%, on track for their worst day since April 2025, after the German industrial services provider tempered its FY margin expectations following Q2 results
** It now expects FY EBITA margin at the lower end of its March forecast range of 5.8%-6.2%
** Q2 revenue came in at €1.45 billion ($1.67 billion), beating a Vara consensus by 1%; EBITA margin was down y/y at 5.3%
** "We believe the negative share price reaction is mainly driven by management's indication that the EBITA margin is likely to land at the lower end of the guidance range," Oddo BHF analyst Chaima Ferrandon says
** The lower-end margin outcome reflects H1 business performance rather than a deterioration in the outlook for the second half of the year, Ferrandon adds
