** Shares of Bio-Gene Technology  BGT.AX  rise 112.5% to
A$0.068, posting their strongest gain of all time
    ** Insecticide products maker rose as much as 121.9% earlier
in the day, hitting highest level since April 29, 2024
    ** Co gets U.S. Department of Defense grants worth A$3.0
mln($1.87 mln)
    ** Says grants awarded are for co's Flavocide and Qcide
products
    ** Flavocide is a wearable product for controlling
mosquitoes while Qcide spray helps control flies and bugs
    ** About 17.9 mln shares change hands vs 30-day average
trading volume of 83,278 shares 
    ** Stock up around 48% so far this year, including today's
gain
