STOCKHOLM, Feb 10 (Reuters) - Swedish e-commerce delivery
company Instabox said on Wednesday it had raised $90 million in
a funding round led by EQT Ventures EQTAB.ST , to scale up its
technology and expand geographically.
Instabox, which delivers parcels to branded lockers in
places like supermarkets and recently launched emission-free
bike delivery service, said current owners, including Creades
CREADa.ST , also participated in the financing round.
Including the latest financing round, Instabox has in total
raised around 1.2 billion Swedish crowns ($143.9 million), CEO
and co-founder Alexis Priftis told Reuters in an e-mail.
The company, whose customers include H&M HMb.ST , Ikea and
Boozt BOOZT.ST , said it was growing by over 300% annually,
delivering more than 1 million parcels per month, with over 2
million users in Sweden.
Instabox, founded in 2015, added that it is growing rapidly
in Norway and Denmark, while planning for new markets.
