India's Borosil hits over 1-month low on Q4 profit drop

** Shares of scientific and industrial products maker
Borosil Ltd BORS.NS fall as much as 7.5% to 381 rupees, their
lowest level since April 18
** Stock posts steepest intraday pct fall since Dec 23, 2022
** Co reported a 35.9% YoY decline in Q4 consolidated net
profit to 220.9 mln rupees ($2.7 mln); revenue rose 17.7% to
2.59 bln rupees
** Total expenses rose 24.9% to 2.36 bln rupees on an 8.7%
increase in cost of materials consumed
** Over 346,000 shares change hands, 3.7X the 30-day moving
average
** Stock up 12.9% YTD, as of last close
($1 = 81.7800 Indian rupees)
