Brave Bison Announces Three New Senior Hires

Social video company Brave Bison, (AIM: BBSN) is pleased to announce details of three new senior appointments made in recent months. Ben Sinden has been appointed as Managing Director, Publishing, Louise Parker as Chief of Staff and Fran Hale as Sales Director. These three hires have been introduced by advertising executive Kate Burns, who was appointed as Chief Executive Officer of Brave Bison in April 2019.

Ben Sinden joins Brave Bison as Managing Director, Publishing, having held leadership positions at Netflix, Telegraph Media Group and ITV in a career spanning 15 years. Within these roles, Sinden led publicity teams at international publishers and global entertainment corporations, delivered video technology products and infrastructure, raised VC funding and built multiple digital teams and businesses in start-up and corporate environments.

Louise Parker joins from insurance technology accelerator Insurtech Gateway as Brave Bison's Chief of Staff. Parker completed an MBA at Warwick Business School, before working to launch Insurtech Gateway at leading London venture firm Hambro Perks. There Parker became "Head of Dealflow", vetting over 100 start-ups and taking many through to investment stage.

Fran Hale joins as Sales Director at Brave Bison from PMYB influencer agency. Hale previously held positions at Myspace, Last.fm, Mixcloud, and Vevo where she gained experience in social video implementation in the marketing sphere.

Ben Sinden commented: "From afar I've seen Brave Bison grow strong business units across rights and channel management, establishing themselves as experts in social video growth. With Kate Burns now at the helm, Brave Bison is ready for its next step. Leading the charge on rolling out owned and operated cross-platform brand strategy, to work with the existing foundations, is a fantastic opportunity. I'm looking forward to growing audiences across existing and new channels, featuring original and exclusive content that will appeal to digital audiences globally."

On her hire, Louise Parker added: "Having previously worked with Kate Burns on an emerging start-up while at Hambro Perks, I immediately took to the chance of working with her again. Brave Bison is doing some incredible work in the space and I'm excited about joining such a talented team."

On joining Brave Bison, Fran Hale said: "My career has led me to work with some of the most exciting names in music and video, so when a role became open at Brave Bison, giving me the opportunity to work at such an eminent social content publisher, I immediately knew it was the right fit for me. On top of that, the opportunity to work with such an industry leader as Kate was too good a chance to give up!"
