TRADE DATA
Romania's National Statistics Board to release foreign trade
data for December at 0700 GMT.
DEBT TENDER
Romanian debt managers tender 700 million lei ($161.13
million) worth of June 2024 treasury bonds.
INTEREST RATES
Romania's central bank kept its benchmark interest rate
unchanged at 2.50% as expected on Friday, staying cautious at a
time of political upheaval, but cut minimum reserve requirements

GOVERNMENT
Designated Liberal PM Ludovic Orban will likely unveil his
cabinet and ask parliament for a vote of confidence on Monday,
days after his previous cabinet toppled in parliament. The

challenge Orban's appointment at the Constitutional Court, which
would delay the process.

Central European currencies weakened on Friday, with the
