SAO PAULO, Feb 26 (Reuters) - Brazilian food processor
BRF SA BRFS3.SA on Monday reported net income of 823 million
reais ($165.26 million) for the fourth quarter of 2023, the
first gain after seven consecutive quarters of losses, according
to an earnings statement.
Analysts had predicted net income of 339.57 million reais.
Adjusted earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and
amortization, a measure of operating income known as EBITDA, was
1.9 billion reais, above the consensus of analysts expectations
of 1.79 billion reais.
