SAO PAULO, April 15 (Reuters) - Saudi Agricultural and Livestock Investment Company (SALIC) sold on Wednesday about 70 million shares in Brazilian food producer MBRF MBRF3.SA, local newspaper Valor Economico said, without providing details on how it got the information.
According to Valor, SALIC, which is owned by Saudi Arabia's sovereign wealth fund PIF, still kept an 11% stake in MBRF following the transaction. The Brazilian firm's shares total around 1.4 billion.
MBRF declined to comment, while SALIC did not immediately reply to a request for comment.
