Plug Power, Brookfield Renewable to build green hydrogen plant, shares gain

** Shares of fuel cell maker  PLUG.O  up 3.12% at $31.77 
    ** Co says it planned to build a green hydrogen production
plant in south-central Pennsylvania with Brookfield Renewable
Partners  BEP.N   urn:newsml:reuters.com:*:nL4N2LS34Q
    ** PLUG's plant, which will use renewable energy from
Brookfield's hydroelectric facility in Holtwood, Pennsylvania,
is projected to produce about 15 metric-tons of emissions-free
liquid hydrogen per day
    ** PLUG's plant is expected to be online by late 2022, with
construction slated to begin by the first quarter of 2022
    ** Brookfield Renewable Partners  BEP.N  also up 1.27% 
    ** Up to last close, PLUG stock down ~6% YTD
