** Shares of Elanco Animal Health ELAN.N rise 5% to $18.80 premarket

** Elanco will join S&P MidCap 400 on September 2, replacing Sarepta Therapeutics SRPT.O

** Sarepta will replace Brookline Bancorp BRKL.O in S&P SmallCap 600 effective before trading opens September 2

** As of last close, ELAN up 47.8% YTD
