** Shares of Bubalus Resources  BUS.AX  rise as much as
86.2% to a record high of A$0.270
    ** Stock on track for its best day, if gains hold 
    ** Co acquires prospective tenements for onshore lithium
mine in Western Australia
    ** Over 1 mln shares change hands, 22.5x compared with the
30-day average volume of 45,331 shares
    ** Co adds it will start soil sampling programme on acquired
area for lithium
    ** Bubalus stock down 19.4% this year, as of last close
