3 November 2021

SulNOx Group Plc (the "Company" or "SulNOx")

Further Certification for SulNOxEcoTM Fuel Conditioner

(Aquis Stock Exchange: SNOX)

The board of the directors of the Company (the "Board") is pleased to confirm that the US unit of Bureau Veritas (www.bvna.com ), a world-leading provider of testing, inspection, and certification services, has certified that both US automotive gasoline / petrol and US diesel fuel with the Company's SulnoxEco™ Fuel Conditioner added at the recommended levels, continues to comply with the US ASTM specifications. More specifically the gasoline analysis meets ASTM D4814, and the diesel analysis meets ASTM D975 specifications.

Following on from the similar European certifications (announced Q1 2021), this is a further landmark moment for SulNOx given the size of the marketplace and, when taken in conjunction with the recent consulting arrangement with National Strategies (NSI), it opens up opportunities across the USA, Canada and Mexico.

Radu Florescu, Chairman, commented, "In a recent report, the International Energy Agency (IEA) stated that the world's reliance on hydrocarbon liquid fuels will continue for many years and is likely to account for 80-90% of transport energy consumption in 2030. SulNOx's patented technologies have consistently shown fuel efficiency improvements of around 10% in tests on cars, vans, buses and trucks, providing an increasingly recognised key solution to immediately combat global warming and air pollution. As an American, I am delighted that the SulNOx proprietary technology has passed these stringent tests to enable sales in North America and support the drive for cleaner air and reduced emissions."

Ben Richardson, CEO, added, "The UK is currently hosting the COP26 climate change summit in Glasgow amid mounting concern among scientists that countries are not doing enough to limit the emissions of greenhouse gases. With many technologies that are being developed still years away from large-scale implementation, SulNOx solutions are available here and now and can have a significant immediate impact. We calculate we could potentially take away the carbon-equivalent of over 5 million cars from the roads and reduce CO2 by 10 million metric tons in the UK alone. Given our products comply with fuel standards, there are no technical barriers to make this happen."
