China's BYD jumps on report of holding intelligent driving event

** Hong Kong shares of BYD Co Ltd  1211.HK  jump 7.1% to
HK$303.40, on course for the biggest one-day pct rise since
November 2022 
    ** Stock hit the highest since October 8, 2024; third
biggest pct gainer in Hang Seng Index  .HSI , which is up 0.7%
    ** Mainland media reported that BYD Co will hold an
intelligent strategy launch event in the evening next Monday,
February 10, at its Shenzhen headquarters, allowing people to
experience advanced intelligent driving through its "God's Eye"
driving system
    ** BYD's Shenzhen stock  002495.SZ  jumps 8.9% to 308.08
yuan, highest since November 12, 2024
    ** High-tech products maker BYD Electronic  0285.HK  jumps
16.1% to HK$52.20, highest since June 2021
    ** Other high-tech products makers track BYD gains; DongGuan
YuTong Optical Technology  300790.SZ  soars 20%, while Guangzhou
Tongda Auto Electric  603390.SS  and Olympic Circuit Technology
 603920.SS  both advance 10%
