China's BYD jumps on report of holding intelligent driving event

    ** Hong Kong shares of BYD Co  1211.HK  jump 10.9% to
HK$314.2, set for biggest one-day pct rise since March 2022 
    ** Stock hits highest since October 8, 2024; third-biggest
pct gainer in Hang Seng Index  .HSI , which is up 0.7%
    ** Mainland media reported that BYD Co will hold an
intelligent strategy launch event on February 10, allowing
people to experience advanced intelligent driving through its
"God's Eye" driving system
    ** BYD's Shenzhen stock  002594.SZ  jumps 10% to 311.08
yuan, highest since October 25, 2024; set for biggest one-day
pct gain since August 2021
    ** High-tech product maker BYD Electronic  0285.HK  jumps
20% to HK$53.95, highest since June 2021
    ** Other high-tech product makers track BYD gains; DongGuan
YuTong Optical Technology  300790.SZ  soars 20%, while Guangzhou
Tongda Auto Electric  603390.SS  and Olympic Circuit Technology
 603920.SS  both advance 10%
