Description: European markets edge higher Monday morning, as investors wait

Bank is expected to keep rates the same on Thursday. However, they could offer
clues on the timing of interest rate cuts, which many anticipate may happen in
June. The mining sector drove the STOXX 600 up slightly. The index was also
helped by gains in the auto sector. The STOXX Basic Resources was the best
performer across sectors.
