** Shares of oil and gas explorer Byron Energy BYE.AX drop
as much as 8.7% to A$0.105, its lowest since Dec 2021
** Stock sees biggest intraday fall since Aug 2022
** Co posts Dec-qtr net sales revenue of $14.2 mln, down
about 26% on the Sept 2022 qtr
** Co's share of oil and gas production for the qtr was
153,716 barrels of oil vs 176,160 in previous quarter
** More than 1.1 mln shares change hands, compared with the
30-day average volume of about 221,000 shares
** Stock has fallen about 4.4% so far in January
