** Shares in Nanjing Xinjiekou Department Store Co Ltd
 600682.SS  decline 4.8 pct to its lowest since July 31, after
it scraps plans to sell a stake to C.Banner International
 1028.HK  
    ** Stock set for worst day since July 30
    ** The department store operator said on Friday it scrapped
plans to sell a 51 pct stake in House Of Fraser Group to
C.Banner International as the latter cancelled a share issue

    ** As of the previous close, the stock has fallen 62.64 pct
so far this year
    ** As of 0204 GMT, about 16.38 million shares of the
Jiangsu-based company have been traded, compared with their
