Caledonia quarterly profit up 16% on higher gold prices Aug 10 (Reuters) - Zimbabwe-focused Caledonia Mining CALq.L on Monday reported a 16% increase in second-quarter profit, as higher gold prices helped offset the impact of lower grades and output.
The gold miner posted a $23.8 million net profit attributable to shareholders for the three months to end June, compared to a $20.5 million profit in the same period a year ago.
Caledonia maintained its quarterly dividend of $0.14 per share.
