Australia's Calidus Resources jumps 18% on rising gold production

** Shares of Calidus Resources Ltd  CAI.AX  climb as much as
17.8% to A$0.265, marking their best day since June 1, 2020
    ** Gold miner says production of 195 kilo tonnes of ore at a
grade of 0.88 grams per tonne was processed with 5,210 ounces of
gold recovered in January at the Warrawoona mine in Western
Australia
    ** Says monthly gold production has been steadily increasing
 over the last four months
    ** Adds co is looking forward to steadily increasing monthly
gold production through increased milling rates and higher head
grade as mining rates improve
    ** More than 2.9 mln shares change hands vs 30-day average
volume of 2.1 mln shares
    ** Stock up 16.7% this year, as of last close
