Australia's Calix jumps on collaboration with Boral on carbon project

** Shares of Calix Ltd  CXL.AX  jump as much as 8.5% to
A$7.14, their biggest intraday pct gain since May 3     
    ** The mineral processing firm says it is collaborating with
Boral Ltd  BLD.AX  for a carbon abatement project with A$30 mln
($20.77 mln) in funding from the Australian government

    ** Says Boral will receive the funding to develop the 
Carbon Capture, use-and-storage project at its cement and lime
facilities in the NSW Southern Highlands, targeting 100,000
tonnes per year of CO2 capture
    ** Adds it will supply its Low Emissions Intensity Lime and
Cement technology to the project
    ** Stock up 1.05% this year, as of last close
