Canadian Natural Resources beats quarterly profit estimate
May 7 (Reuters) - Canadian Natural Resources CNQ.TO surpassed expectations for first-quarter profit on Thursday, as the company benefited from higher oil and natural gas production. The Calgary, Alberta-based company posted an adjusted profit of C$1.17 per share for the three months ended March 31, compared with analysts' average estimate of C$1.01, according to data compiled by LSEG.
