("Capital Drilling", the "Group" or the "Company")
Issue of Equity, Director/PDMR shareholding and Total Voting Rights
Capital Drilling Limited (CAPD: LN), a leading mining services company focused on the African markets, today announces that it has issued 731,950 new common shares pursuant to terms of the Company's employee share schemes, awarded in the previously approved 2017 and 2018 bonus scheme.  The new common shares will rank pari passu with the existing common shares.   
 
Pursuant to the terms of the Company's employee share scheme, of the 731,950 shares, Directors received 318,775 as detailed below, and other PDMRs of the Company have received a total of 168,252 shares:
 
1.      265,646 new common shares awarded to Jamie Boyton, Executive Chairman of the Company, at a price of 50.5p per share under the Group's Discretionary Bonus Scheme. This represents a previously approved award relating to the 2018 bonus scheme, with a share price value date of 29 March 2019; and,
 
2.      53,129 new common shares awarded to Brian Rudd, Executive Director of the Company, at a price of 50.5p per share under the Group's Discretionary Bonus Scheme. This represents a previously approved award relating to the 2018 bonus scheme, with a share price value date of 29 March 2019.
 
The shares are expected to be issued and allotted on 26 March 2020. Application has been made to the London Stock Exchange and admission of the shares is expected on or around 27 March 2020, following which; the Company's issued share capital will comprise 136,980,903 common shares of $0.0001 each. This figure may be used by shareholders as denominator for the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or change to their interest in, Capital Drilling under the FCA's Disclosure and Transparency Rules.
