** Shares of copper miners listed on the Australian bourse gain as copper prices strengthen on supply concerns after a fatal mining collapse in Chile MET/L

** ASX shares of Capstone Copper CSC.AX CS.TO soar as much as 5.1% to A$9.70, their highest level since July 7

** Sandfire Resources SFR.AX up 1.7% at A$11.27

** Broader mining sub-index .AXMM is up 1.4%
