Chile's Mantoverde copper output hit as labor talks stall, union says

SANTIAGO, Jan 12 (Reuters) - Talks for a new collective agreement at Chile's Mantoverde copper and gold mine remain frozen as the strike continues to affect production, the union said on Monday.

The workers' union said in a statement the labor authority had notified it that the company will not have emergency personnel from the union to keep facilities operational "due to non-compliance with legal requirements and late submissions."
