Union for Chile's Mantoverde mine calls on workers to reject contract offer
SANTIAGO, Jan 29 (Reuters) - The union representing workers at Capstone Copper's CS.TO Mantoverde copper and gold mine in northern Chile on Thursday urged workers to reject a contract offer from the firm and prolong a strike that began in early January. The mine on Wednesday presented a new offer to workers, which the union said was worse than a previous proposal. Employees will vote on the deal on Friday.
