Dec 12 (Reuters) - British retailer Card Factory CARDC.L warned on its annual profit on Friday due to lower-than-expected UK store sales and expectations that weak high street footfall could persist over the remaining festive weeks this year.
The company, which sells soft toys, gifts, Christmas cards and decorations, forecast annual adjusted pretax profit between 55 million and 60 million pounds ($80.31 million), lower than a year earlier. It had previously expected earnings to grow by mid-to-high single digit.
