    ** Mineral explorer says maiden drilling programme at its
Melrose copper-nickel-platinum group elements project in Western
Australia has concluded 
    ** Says co has observed favourable geological features at
project, and is well-positioned for a successful discovery
    ** About 8.2 mln shares change hands, compared with the
30-day average volume of around 7.5 mln
    ** Stock up 62.5% YTD, as of last close
