PRESIDENT VISITS HUNGARY
Polish President Karol Nawrocki will visit Hungary on Monday, where he will meet with Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban, Gazeta Wyborcza daily reported.
POLAND'S RATING
Moody's has completed its periodic review of Poland's rating. The long-term rating remains at A2 with a negative outlook.
Moody's expects Poland's GDP growth to reach 3.7% in 2026, compared to the previous forecast of 3.2%, and will likely slow to 3% in 2027.
SAFE PROGRAM
Poland's Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense, Wladyslaw Kosiniak-Kamysz, said that the first part of the EU SAFE program funds is to be spent by May, Dziennik Gazeta Prawna daily reported.
RETAIL SALES
On Monday, the statistical office releases data on retail sales in Poland. Analysts polled by Reuters expect them to have increased by 6.1% year-on-year, compared to 4.4% in January.
