Chairman to retire 
 
Centaur Media plc (LSE: CAU), the multi-platform media group, has been advised
by Patrick Taylor, the group's Chairman, that he intends to retire by the next
AGM, once a suitable replacement has been found. 
 
Patrick joined the Board in 2004 as a non-executive director and took over as
Chairman in 2009. 
 
Patrick Taylor commented: 
 
"I have been with Centaur for many years and it's time for someone else to
take on this role.  In Andria Vidler, we have a Chief Executive who is
transforming the Company in a truly positive way.  She has an excellent
management team and the business has many terrific brands. I view Centaur's
future with excitement and confidence." 
 
Christopher Satterthwaite, the senior non-executive director who will lead the
search for a successor, commented: 
 
"On behalf of the Board and the whole company, I would like to thank Patrick
for leading the Board and his substantial contribution over the past five
years.  His experience and advice coupled with his commitment to the success
of the business have been invaluable. He will leave the business well
positioned".
