("CAML" or the "Company")
Exercise of Warrants
Central Asia Metals plc (AIM: CAML), has been notified by Mirabaud Securities
LLP ('the Warrant Holder') of the exercise of a Warrant, which was issued for
placing fees in respect of the September 2010 initial public offering and
entitles the Warrant Holder to subscribe for 932,053 Ordinary Shares of
US$0.01 each ('Warrant Shares') being the remaining balance out of the initial
1,192,053 warrant shares granted, at a price of 96p per warrant share raising
£894,770.88.
The Company has received payment of £894,770.88 and has applied for admission
of the Warrant Shares to trading on AIM ("Admission"). The Warrant Shares will
rank pari passu in all respects with the Company's existing Ordinary Shares.
It is expected that Admission will become effective at or around 8.00 a.m. on
6 August 2014. The total number of Ordinary Shares in issue, following the
issue of the Warrant Shares, and the total number of voting rights, will be
111,333,663 (excluding treasury shares).
The above figure of 111,333,663 Ordinary Shares may be used by shareholders in
the Company as the denominator for the calculations by which they will
determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to
their interest in, CAML under the FCA's Disclosure and Transparency Rules.
