Results of Annual General Meeting 
Central Asia Metals PLC (AIM: CAML) announces that all resolutions proposed at the Annual General Meeting held earlier today were duly passed. 
Board Changes
Further to the announcement on 11 April 2016, the Company confirms that, Nigel Hurst-Brown has now stepped down to the role of Deputy Chairman and Nick Clarke has assumed the role of Executive Chairman. Howard Nicholson has now retired from the Board but will remain as an employee of the Company.
Appointment of Gavin Ferrar
Gavin Ferrar has been appointed as an Executive Director of the Company with immediate effect. Mr Ferrar, holds post-graduate degrees in geology and finance and has been involved in the mining sector for 21 years. His career in industry began at Anglo American plc in the New Mining Business Division. He spent 10 years in the investment banking sector covering a range of equity and debt financings for junior and major mining clients of Barclays Capital and Investec plc. Since 2011, Mr Ferrar worked with junior mining companies arranging finance and providing corporate advisory services before joining the Company full-time in June 2014 as Business Development Director. Mr Ferrar is also a Non-Executive Director of Copper Bay Limited, which is 75% owned by CAML.
Save as set out in the Appendix to this announcement, there are no additional disclosures required under Rule 17 and Schedule 2, paragraph (g) of the AIM Rules for Companies.

New World Investment Managers Limited ("NWIM"), of which Mr Ferrar was a director from 11 December 2012 to 17 May 2014, entered into liquidation within 12 months of Mr Ferrar's resignation. A liquidator was appointed on 23 September 2014 and NWIM was dissolved on 5 April 2016. All creditors were paid in full and shareholders' funds were returned.
