Australia's Central Petroleum up on gas sales deal for JV

** Shares of oil and gas explorer  CTP.AX  rise as much as
4.4% to A$0.12
    ** Co says it has entered into a gas sales agreement on
behalf on Mereenie Joint Venture, in which CTP holds a 25%
stake, with Brisbane-based consulting firm Strategic Gas Market

and Melbourne
    ** CTP announces completion of its maiden east cost spot
