U.S. stock index futures fell on Tuesday as investors positioned themselves for
new economic projections and another large interest rate hike by the Federal
Reserve this week to quell decades-high inflation.  .N 
    
    At 7:38 a.m. ET, Dow e-minis  1YMc1  were down 0.28% at 31,030. S&P 500
e-minis  ESc1  were down 0.37% at 3,902.75, while Nasdaq 100 e-minis  NQc1  were
down 0.41% at 11,974.25.
