** Chalet Hotels CHAL.NS rises 3% to 906.3 rupees

** Co introduces new upper-scale brand Athiva Hotels and Resorts; plans to launch five upcoming projects under brand

** Of the five properties, two will be in Mumbai, two in Goa

** Jefferies says in all, six properties, including rebranded older property, will have 900 rooms

** Adds co's own brands strategy to complement its partnerships with major international brands

** Antique Stock Broking says co's key strength lies in its ability to source prime land ahead of market cycle in high potential micro markets

** Adds it enables co to construct hotels at materially lower costs than industry peers

** YTD, CHAL down ~7%
