TOKYO, Feb 16 (Reuters) - Japanese oil refiner Idemitsu
Kosan Co 5019.T has shut a 190,000-barrel-per-day crude
distillation unit (CDU) at its Chiba refinery, east of Tokyo,
shortly after it was hit by an earthquake on Saturday, a company
spokeswoman said on Tuesday.
The 7.3 magnitude earthquake struck off the coast of eastern
Japan on Saturday, injuring dozens of people and triggering

The Chiba CDU was shut down automatically after the quake
triggered a power outage, the spokeswoman said, adding that it
had not set a date to restart yet although no damage was found.
