    * Says it plans to acquire 100 percent stake in an 
Indonesia-based firm PT. IPPUDO CATERING INDONESIA, a subsidiary 
of the company's 50 percent-owned Malaysia-based joint venture 
IPPUDO CATERING SDN BHD, through a consolidated subsidiary 
CHIKARANOMOTO GLOBAL HOLDINGS PTE.LTD, for $250,000 (27 million 
yen) 
    * Acquisition date on Aug. 1
