** Qualcomm <QCOM.O> said it would buy AI startup Modular in an all-stock deal valued at nearly $4 billion, gaining access to software that runs AI models across chips without having to write code for each processor.

** Agility Robotics will go public through a merger with blank-check firm Churchill Capital Corp XI <CCXI.O> in a $2.5 billion deal, the companies said .

** Ratio Petroleum Energy <RTPTp.TA> has agreed to buy Pharos Energy <PHARP.L> in an all-cash deal valued at £124.3 million ($164 million), giving the Israel-based energy company access to production assets in Egypt and Vietnam.

** The Japanese fund Nippon Sangyo Suishin Kiko (NSSK) has resubmitted its bid to take Makino Milling Machine <6135.T> private, raising the offer price to around 16,000 yen ($98.96) per share, the Nikkei newspaper reported .
