Notification and public disclosure of transactions by persons discharging managerial responsibilities ("PDMR") and persons closely associated with them.
 
City of London (LSE: CLIG), a leading specialist asset management group offering a range of institutional and retail products investing in closed-end funds, has been notified that Barry Aling, our Non-Executive Chairman, has purchased 20,000 ordinary shares of £0.01 each in the Company ("Ordinary Shares") at a price of £4.297255 per share.
 
Following the purchase, Mr. Aling's beneficial interest is 134,300 Ordinary Shares, representing approximately 0.3% of the Company's issued share capital.
